Happy Halloween! Hope everyone is healthy and happy.
* I have been thinking about hosting Ubuntu Hour ( https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Hour ) Is anyone in the Cleveland Heights / University Heights area? I was considering the North Park Brew and Bistro. Really cool place.
I’d love to hear some feedback on this!
* We have one of the biggest LoCos in the USA. 300 members. I only see a few active, on occasion. I am considering a switch to a limited membership length that one would have to renew every 6 months or so.
* New Twitter / Identi.ca OhioLoCo accounts! Fun stuff with that to follow!

Hey Guys!
First of all, I would like to announce a new program I am instituting. The Ohio Weekly Newsletter!
It will be a quick state-of-the-union of the LoCo over the last week. I would love to see people submitting articles for our newsletter — and eventually it will aggregate our blogs and tweets. Hooray!
I would also love to start seeing more IRC activity, we have a channel guys!

Global Jam ‘09
Well, that’s it! The Ohio Global Jam ‘09 just got wrapped up. Amazing showing, and really and outstanding event. We had a blast, a big shout out Digitalvectorz, Mathay, Ken, Mike, Chris, Anthony, Andrew, Joe, Dr. Palmer, and the John Carroll Computer Science department!
